In Vapour fluid separators gravity is used to cause the denser liquid (fluid) to settle to the lower part of the vessel where it is removed, less thick liquid (fume) is removed from the highest point of the vessel.
A vapour separator may work as a 3-stage separator, with two immiscible fluid periods of various densities. For instance flammable gas (fume), water and oil/condensate. The two fluids settle at the lower part of the vessel with oil gliding on the water. Separate fluid outlets are provided. The fluid limit of a separator is typically characterized by the home season of the fluid in the vessel. Some common home occasions have appeared.
